Subject: Unable To Start The Client..? Sat Jun 08, 2013 2:23 am
The Maplestory client fix appears as a small box, loads up, and then disappears. After, nothing happens.
I've restarted my computer, ran as administrator, re-extracted the files, switched compatibility to Windows XP because I have Windows 7, and I don't have any firewalls or anti-viruses stuff.
Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

Erm , make sure you've offed ALL your other servers if you have them running and open task bar manager to see if there's " MapleStory.exe " running , if there is and nothing is happening , end the " MapleStory.exe " and re-run as admin for the " `MapleDivine.exe "
( Remember to wait like 10seconds or so after opening the Client as it requires sometime before the program opens . )

I have the same problem with this or something similar. I think the problem is the ijl15.dll file. Do you think you can update the download links?

Her problem was solved through some firewall stuffs I think and she's able to enter game now /
For your IJL15.DLL , it's easy to solve . Delete your v117 , use your old Setup and extract another NEW v117 CLEAN one onto your desktop , extract both my client.rar and WzEdits.rar , replace and start . There shouldn't be error if you re-start from a clean folder.

Oh, redownloading the v117 helped. Thanks. Though, I am still wary of why there is a ijl15.dll that does not work located in the client.rar?

Actually it does work , of course I've sent error like this countless of times but I still can't figure what's the problem but to guess that it's caused by the v117.2 Setup that you're using .

My antivirus keeps deleting the files... maybe it's deleting your files too
